This One Thing Is Causing You Quality Sleep.

It’s 8:46 pm on a Wednesday, and Bella had just gotten home from work. She hurried to the kitchen – prepared dinner, and a couple of minutes later, she took her empty plate to the kitchen sink to clean it up. It was while doing the dishes that it came to her again. She seems indebted to them, and that’s why they decided to punish her. At least that was what she thought. Would they come for her again tonight?

After doing the dishes, she headed for the bathroom with her cute white robe. She had watched a video from Aproko Doctor while scrolling through Instagram about how taking a bath right before bed could solve her sleeping problems. So, there she was – taking a bath, hoping it would help her get at least 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep…

It’s 9:30pm, Fast forward to after her bath and observing her nighttime skincare routine. It’s been over 30 minutes since she slipped into bed, and funny enough she didn’t have to turn from pillow to pillow, nor read the boring history book Faith recommended to her before falling asleep.

“You’d see,” They all pointed to her. “If you don’t pay us a visit this time next year, you’d see what we’d do to you.”

Bella was awake – and she could bet she heard their voices audibly. The same way she did when her village elders rebuked her for not always visiting home during festive periods… And she didn’t take their warning remarks seriously (It’s been over two years since she last visited home).

She rubbed her neck and picked her phone up from the bedside table. After her eyes adjusted to the screen brightness, she slowly scanned to check the time.

“What?” “It’s just 11 pm?” “And I thought I was about hitting my 7-hours of quality sleep goal,” she murmured as she let out a deep sigh. After failing to fall asleep for another hour, she slowly navigated for her phone – As soon as her hand came in contact with the cold exterior of her iPhone 12, she pulled it towards her face and opened Instagram.

Fortunately for her, the top post was titled “The One Thing Costing You Sleep…” And that was when the revelation happened. It was as though the universe was feeling her pains, so she positioned well to keep reading.

“Having Troubles Getting Quality Sleep? It could be one of three things…”

“Keep reading to find out.”

1. If you’re currently feeling pains around your neck and have overall back pain, it must be from your pillow. Sleeping with the wrong pillow affects your head, neck and back support. If your pillow is flat or too fluffy, it’d put your spine completely out of alignment.

2. Constantly readjusting your pillow becomes a major nuisance to a person’s sleeping schedule. Frequent turning and tossing make it harder for your brain to relax, resulting in extreme fatigue in the next morning. Try bending your pillow in half. If it doesn’t straighten back into shape, it’s likely time for a new one.

*She slowly got off her pillow. Bends it in half, and it refused to straighten back into shape.*

“Could this be the problem?,” She asked herself as she kept reading.

3. If you’ve recently experienced allergy flare-ups and cannot seem to pinpoint the cause, try switching up your pillow. Pillows attract dust mites over time, which is a common trigger for asthmatic symptoms. Replacing your pillow ensures internal cleanliness…

After reading the third point, she reclined into her lumpy pillow. And that was when Bella discovered that her pillow was the reason behind her lack of quality sleep and upon changing them, getting quality sleep was no longer a problem for her.

Maybe you’re like Bella, thinking your village elders are stopping you from having quality sleep. You couldn’t be more wrong. If you’re experiencing any of the pillow-related issues mentioned previously, you need the right pillow to support your head and spine alignment, and Fluide’s got your back!
